16th Annual 5-Miler to benefit The Angel Fund

Help support the fight against ALS!

The Angel Fund is an independent nonprofit charity benefiting ALS (Lou Gehrig’s Disease) research at the Cecil B. Day Laboratory for Neuromuscular Research at UMASS Medical Center. There is no known cure for ALS, and death usually results from respiratory failure in 2 to 5 years.

Recently, Dr. Robert H. Brown Jr, and the Day Neuromuscular Research Lab at UMASS Medical have seen significant accomplishments in their program to discover new ALS genes. In the first 14 years of the race, Harpoon Helps has raised $1,383,132 for the The Angel Fund, but the fight is not over, we need your help!

Step up for ALS! For more info, please visit www.theangelfund.org.

PLEASE NOTE: In this week's Race Newsletter (sent 5/8/17), we announced that all fundraisers who raise $20 this week will have the chance to be fully outfitted in PUMA shoes and apparel. However, we neglected to include the very important detail that the winner will be chosen in a raffle. PUMA will not be able to outfit everyone who raises $20 this week. But they WILL outfit one lucky fundraiser. Good luck, and thank you for fundraising!
